This hotel was a pleasant surprise on arrival, with a much better overall standard and attractiveness than I had expected, following a mediocre review by Lonely Planet. The public areas are well designed and the bedroom was very spacious. We booked a double and a twin and received a Business Double which was large and well equipped including sofa area, large TV,fridge , coffee machine and desk. Breakfast was the best buffet choice we have experienced in Norway so far. The location may not be the most attractive, but it is just off the main road network and a handy stop over. We ate at a local restaurant Pillarguri Kafe, which was excellent.

The breakfast was superb with many excellent choices, even for my family that needed gluten free options. The dinner buffet I think was the best traditional Norwegian food we had on our entire trip, which was a very pleasant surprise. We stayed here for convenience of location of driving destinations, and there was little in the town that was significant, it met our needs great. There were several grocery stores in walking distance .

The hotel was a delightful surprise. Everything was wonderful: the location, the room, and the breakfast. The room was spacious and quiet, and the breakfast was satisfactory. The location is gorgeous.

Liked the staff, the rooms, the food was excellent but the choice for dinner was limited. Breakfast was full of choice and there were many hot dishes and a great variety of foods. If this hotel is the standard offered by Thon I would have no hesitation booking again.

Lovely hotel right on the edges of Jotunheimen national park. Good value, lovely breakfast and a really comfy bed for the night. Recommend if looking for a pit stop or visiting the area

Big spacious room with good basic amenities. Interior of hotel and room looks new although the building may not. Appreciate the heated toilets at all Thon hotels we stayed. Sufficient and nice breakfast spread as well. Liked that the parking is free for guests as it is not the case with many hotels in Norway.

Very nice hotel with attentive and helpful staff. We very lucky to have a view over a mountain. Good breakfast. They also offered a nice buffet for dinner.

Quite small and intimate. Excellent room with two windows, nice views and a lot of light. The breakfast was really good.
